Olivio graduated in 1990 from the University of Toronto,St. Michaels College with an Honors Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science. He received his Law degree in 1993 from the University of Alberta Faculty of Law, and called to the Ontario bar in 1995 after completing his articles under his principal, the late Honorable James Michael Flaherty. He received his Master of Law in Administrative Law from Osgoode Hall in 2017.

Olivio has worked in private practice as well as for two Greater Toronto Municipalities as legal counsel advising on Litigation/Planning/Municipal Law matters.

He has represented his clients at all levels of court, from small claims to the Supreme Court of Canada. Olivio also has been an invited speaker at various municipal law enforcement associations on developments in the law as it pertains to municipal by-law enforcement issues.

He sat on the York Region Joint Board of Management for the Prosecution of Municipal By-Law Offences as the City of Vaughan’s representative.Olivio has received awards and commendations from his clients, organizations he has worked with such as the York Region Police, The Municipal Law Enforcement Association of Ontario,and municipalities,for his work. Olivio currently provides counsel to Professional Organizations as well as Non-Profit Organizations based on his experience.
